Vài nét về kỹ năng đọc hiểu Đặt câu hỏi - Asking questions

Trong nhiều thập kỉ trước, các nghiên cứu chỉ ra rằng các giáo viên vẫn chỉ thích đưa ra cho học sinh câu hỏi đọc hiểu sau khi việc đọc được hoàn tất. Trong khi đó, việc đặt các câu hỏi trước, trong và sau khi đọc sẽ giúp nâng cao hiệu quả đọc rất nhiều, cả với người lớn và trẻ em.

Raz Kids mở rộng/Raz Plus dạy trẻ kỹ năng Đặt câu hỏi như thế nào?

Các nhà sư phạm thiết kế rất nhiều đầu sách trong Raz-kid mở rộng để giáo viên/phụ huynh trao thêm cơ hội cho trẻ thực hành Đặt câu hỏi và trả lời câu hỏi.

Ví dụ, với cuốn sách I'd like to be - level H. Cuốn sách kể về một số nghề nghiệp phổ biến mà các bạn nhỏ mong muốn sau này lớn lên sẽ làm.

Trước khi bắt đầu đọc sách, cha mẹ có thể gợi ý để con tự đặt một số câu hỏi liên quan tới nội dung chuẩn bị đọc:

Mình đã biết những ngành nghề nào?
Mình cảm thấy thích nghề nào nhất?
...

Trong quá trình đọc, cha mẹ có thể ngừng lại một chút để hỏi con về 1 số nghề nghiệp được mô tả trong sách. Ví dụ:

Món ăn này trông hấp dẫn đấy. Nếu con là đầu bếp, con định làm thêm món gì?
Con có nghĩ nhiều bạn thích làm bác sĩ thú y không? Vì sao?

Sau khi cùng con đọc xong cuốn sách, cha mẹ hỏi xem con đã tìm được câu trả lời cho 1 số câu hỏi con đặt ra lúc trước không. Chưa dừng lại ở đó, cha mẹ tiếp tục hướng dẫn con tự đặt một số câu hỏi để đào sâu nội dung vừa đọc. Ví dụ:

Con còn muốn biết thông tin về nghề nghiệp nào?
Con thấy nghề nào thử thách nhất?
Có điểm chung nào giữa các nghề được nhắc tới trong sách không?
...
